Refund and Returns Policy

At Jerusalem Tastebuds, we strive to provide meaningful culinary experiences that are planned and prepared with care. This Refunds & Returns Policy outlines the terms for cancellations, refunds, changes, participation requirements, delivery, and liability across our workshops, tours, products, and services.
0. Eligibility to Purchase
Purchases through our website are permitted only for individuals aged 18 years and older.
By placing an order or booking a service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
1. Cancellation of Purchase
From the moment of purchase until the product or service is received, the customer may cancel the purchase under the following conditions:

The purchase can be canceled within 48 hours (2 days) from the time of purchase.

The cancellation will be made only by written notice to jerusalem.tastebuds@gmail.com.

In the case of a physical product, the product must be returned in its original packaging, complete, and without any damage or defect of any kind.
2. Product Supply Policy

Physical Products (e.g., Mama Box): Products will be delivered within 48 hours (2 days) from the time of purchase, unless otherwise specified at checkout.

Self-pickup: Sunday to Thursday 09:00–21:00, Friday 09:00–13:00 (by prior coordination).

The site will not be responsible for any delay and/or lateness in delivery performed by a third party and affected by force majeure and/or strikes and/or shutdowns and/or lack of response from the customer for delivery coordination.

Workshops, Classes, and Tours:

Upon completing a purchase, the customer will receive an order confirmation with full details of the activity (date, time, location, and participation terms).

The confirmation is sent automatically to the email address provided during checkout, within 24 hours of the purchase.

This confirmation serves as proof of booking and must be presented on the day of the activity (digital or printed).

3. Product Liability
Jerusalem Tastebuds and/or anyone on its behalf will not be liable for any direct or indirect damage that may be caused as a result of using the service and/or using a product purchased on the site.
The content and information presented do not constitute professional advice. Any information provided or content appearing on the site or communications does not constitute professional advice, recommendation, or opinion. The responsibility for the use of the information lies solely with the customer.
4. General Refund Policy
Full Refund (minus fees):
Cancellations made 7 or more days before the scheduled service are eligible for a full refund, minus any booking fees or service charges (3%).
No Refund (within 7 days):
Cancellations made less than 7 days before the scheduled service are not eligible for a refund.
No Refund After Start:
Once a service has begun, no refunds or re-bookings are available.
Non-Attendance:
If a participant does not attend for any reason, including illness, injury, or travel delays, no refund will be issued.
5. Changes After Booking
Changes to the itinerary, number of participants, or menu requests made after booking may incur cancellation fees or result in partial loss of payment.
All change requests must be submitted in writing by email to jerusalem.tastebuds@gmail.com.
6. Minimum Participants
Certain services require a minimum number of participants to run:

Cooking Workshops: minimum 6 participants

Healthy Food Prep Workshops: minimum 6 participants

Ulpan + Cooking Classes: minimum 6 participants

Food Tours at Machane Yehuda: minimum 4 participants
If a class or tour is canceled because the minimum participant requirement is not met:

Guests will be fully refunded, or
-
Offered the option to reschedule to a later date.
7. No-Shows
No refunds are provided for participants who do not attend, arrive late, or leave early.
8. Vouchers
In some cases, especially for cancellations close to the class or tour date, we may offer a voucher for a future class instead of a refund.
Vouchers are non-transferable, non-refundable, and valid only for the services specified.
9. Special Cases

Support Our Soldiers donations are charitable contributions and are non-refundable once processed.

Mama Box deliveries: orders canceled less than 24 hours before delivery are non-refundable. Same-day orders are non-refundable once confirmed.

All cancellation or refund requests must be submitted in writing by email to jerusalem.tastebuds@gmail.com.
Requests are considered valid only once confirmed in writing by Jerusalem Tastebuds.
